Today, on the 26th of February of 2014, Paco de Lucia guitarist has died. I would like to share with all of you one of his album called LUZIA. Many years trying to enjoy one of his concerts but always were sold out! Today as many days, I have been listening to him!

MAIKA MAKOVSKI a great smiling musician girl! Piano, electric guitar, spectacular voice and a band. Last Friday I had the pleasure to watch and listen to her last music piece DESAPARECER. Powerful voice and talent girl on the scenario. She started playing the piano, singing and dancing at the same time, transmitting positive energy with her big smile. You could feel that she was totally relaxed and secure with her performance. The band that goes with Maika is amazing…three artistic boys with a nice voices and good quality of playing (bass, guitar and drums).

The combination of Anna Ruohonen designs + Ludovic Kerfendal artistic directions, once again, created an interactive, human and cool SS14 Fashion Show. And why not I took part as a model. As always, Anna & Ludovic like to make a performance. This time, Ludovic chose Aero Furniture Design Store for setting the show in Helsinki. The idea was that we would be » living» in the shop… reading a book in a armchair…watching through the window…checking you mail on your computer… chatting together… having a glass of.. water or wine… And then, every 20 minutes we would change clothes (but not all of us at the same time ! ) Anna Ruohonen likes to watch her designs wearing in a «normal» people…how people are going to use her designs in daily life doing «normal» things. That is me and 7 more Finns role. I enjoyed it a lot! I like to have new experiences and it was so interactive that I was speaking and laughing with all the people, audience and the rest of the models.

I would like to share with you this amazing short film that I met on internet…«Homeland» is a short film about the Basque culture and its language driven by Etxepare Basque Institute (etxepare.net/) and Surfilmfestibal (surfilmfestibal.com/), directed by Cyrus Sutton.
Divided between the borders of France and Spain, the Basque Country is home to amazing natural beauty and rich culture. The Basques are believed to be the first to trade with Native Americans and circumnavigate the globe. Their language is the oldest living non-Latin/Germanic in Western Europe.
Today, amazing waves, stunning cliffs and rolling green hills surround ancient family homesteads. Industrial ports line cities and towns with dense, thriving streets. However in the past decade, the Basque-land, like much of Europe, has endured shifting economic forces which threaten their ancient ways of life…

Last winter I met Patricia Álvarez in Bilbao. She introduced me her clothing selection for 2013 Spring – Summer Season. In her interview, she is telling us about her favorite designer of Paris Fashion Week 2013, Clover Canyon, her visit to EXCELSIOR MILANO concept store and her opinion about what is happening in Bilbao with the design. In her opinion, going to exclusive catwalk of Karl Lagerfeld, Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Chloé is a waste of time. The catwalks are for fashion journalist and fashionist people. Her task in the Fashion Weeks is to see and touch the pieces of clothing. That’s why, she goes directly to the showrooms, negotiate prices and get in love with new collections. Amazing meeting! Almost 1 hour and half listening to her experiences in fashion.

Sensitive and nice dialogue with Lore about her opinion of Bilbao, Design effects into Bilbao’s society and brief stories about her experience in international fashion design markets such as Bread & Butter Berlin + BCN, London Trade shows and small underground markets. She is very happy that Bilbao has this curiosity in Design , architecture and art but she remarked how basque people are traditional and classical. In my opinion, this can be a good combination for a new era inside the city.
